We are extremely proud to begin the 22nd season of the Memphis Boychoir with 15 boys between the ages of 8 and 12. This season promises to be both challenging and rewarding. We embark on partnerships with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, the Jackson Symphony Orchestra, LeMoyne-Owen College, the University of the South in Sewanee and Christ Church Cathedral in New Orleans. Opportunities to perform and interact with these communities will promote a great sense of growth and development in the Memphis Boychoir. We are focused not only on the continuing musical growth of the boys, but also the process of them developing into the next great leaders in the city of Memphis.

The tradition of boys singing and leading the worship experience has been a part of the church for hundreds of years. We are thrilled to be immersed in this tradition and performing this great repertoire. I invite you to search our website and to experience the sound of centuries at one of our 2009/10 programs.

Cheers – Geoff
