A message from the Board of Directors
After much research and due diligence, The Memphis BoyChoir, Inc. Board of Directors is delighted to move forward into a new era for this Memphis treasure and one of our leading arts organizations.
In our partnership with Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church, all choir programs will be led by Dr. Patrick Scott, newly appointed Memphis BoyChoir, Inc. Artistic Director, who is also the Artistic Director and Director of Music and Organist at Grace-St. Luke's.
Incorporation into the robust music heritage at Grace-St. Luke's is a much sought after and anticipated collaboration, one that will benefit our mission and programs, our choristers, Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church and school, fans and supporters, as well as the community at large. Grace-St. Lukes's is enthusiastically embracing this opportunity to "re-boot" these choirs after the Covid hiatus.
All previous choristers are encouraged to join, and new choristers will be recruited from the Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School and all schools around the Memphis region. To learn more about auditions and joining a choir, click here.

ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
A Creative And Interactive Musical Experience For Children & Adults
We offer a unique opportunity to provide the benefits that only music can provide. Choristers participate in weekly rehearsals designed to stimulate academic and creative development as well as learn performance skills, music theory, history and more.
OUR MISSION
To Provide The Community With A Unique Musical Opportunity
We provide boys and girls with the unique and multi-faceted experience for which the centuries-old Anglican choral tradition has been known: first-rate musical formation from professional staff within a healthy, supportive, and spiritual after-school environment. Through membership in the ChamberChoir, adults also participate in this dynamic choral experience, both with the BoyChoir and GirlChoir, and as an independent ensemble.

BENEFITS
Singing Is More Than Just Enjoyment; It Is An Education.
INTEREST IN MUSIC EDUCATION IS AT AN ALL-TIME HIGH
BENEFITS OF MUSIC PLAY AND INSTRUCTION
As we’ve seen across the nation, the arts are typically the first thing to go in favor of endeavors that have a higher perceived short term benefit (e.g. higher test scores, more enrollment, more revenue). Long-term, less quantifiable benefits are overlooked. Interestingly, a recent Gallup Study shows that Americans hold music and music-making in high regard, and that everyone can enjoy the proven benefits of music, especially youth.
